Sureer Hussein Bulhan is a dedicated researcher with a background in psychology and criminal justice. Current research engagement

She is currently working at Rako Research and Communication Centre, focusing on the impact of Somali diaspora humanitarianism on foreign relations in Mogadishu and Hargeisa. Sureer’s research aims to understand the experiences, motivations, and roles of Somali diaspora humanitarianism and how they shape policies and practices in these areas.

Sureer is using qualitative methods such as focus groups and interviews to gather data. She is excited about the potential impact of her research and believes that it will provide valuable insights into the dynamics of diaspora humanitarianism and its influence on the Somali region’s social, political, and economic landscape.
